Shine in the love of God's grace, every day.
Zion Spring has been serving the faithful for over eighty years. Our mission is to spiritually uplift our community, and work towards a greater good and the advancement of GOD's kingdom here on earth. We are tireless in our efforts to feed the hungry and clothe the poor as demonstrations of the Gospel for those who have yet to embrace their faith. We are a refuge to those seeking spiritual healing and we strive to encourage others to embrace the path that will lead them to Jesus Christ and a brand new life. Our faith causes us to endeavor to serve all people. We do not discriminate. We merely attempt to support our fellow man, and bear witness to the transforming power of GOD, the light of His love, and the tenderness of His care for His creation.
Zion Spring is affiliated with the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc, where Reverend Samuel Tolbert is our President. We are members of the New Era Progressive Baptist State Convention of Alabama, where Pastor Robert M. Alexander, Jr. (First Missionary Baptist Church, East Boyles) is our President. And we are members of the Village Spring Manly District Association, where Pastor Q.E. Hammonds (Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Pratt City) is our Moderator.
Adam M. Mixon is our Pastor. He is a trained, licensed, and ordained minister who is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was educated at the University of Cincinnati, and the Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He has served in various positions within our State and District associations. Pastor Mixon encourages not only sound doctrine but places heavy emphasis on the practicality of our faith. He is married to Adrienne A. Mixon, also an Ohio native, and they have 3 beautiful children. They have been serving the ministry at Zion Spring for 17 years.
